Lisa Rodarte is a self-taught textile artist whose creative journey began in fashion and denim design. Her early explorations with indigo dyeing led to wearable silk pieces before evolving into the original abstract silk paintings she creates today.

Working from her Laguna Beach studio, Lisa draws inspiration from the patterns and rhythms of nature and the emotional connection we have with color. She is drawn to the way dyes move and blend across silk, allowing each painting to unfold in its own way.

Her available original paintings are exhibited at Delgado Gallery, a mother-and-daughter gallery shared with watercolor artist Lydia Delgado.
